Gas line struck in Waterloo

The Waterloo Fire Department and City of Waterloo utility workers responded about 10:50 a.m. Friday to the report of a gas line struck by a construction crew in the 1300 block of Cody Drive off Vandebrook Drive in Waterloo.

Nearby homes were evacuated as a precaution.
