Columbia man dies in Randolph County crash

A Columbia man died in a single-vehicle crash early Friday evening in Randolph County.

According to the Illinois State Police, the crash occurred on Route 3 southbound just south of Dew Drop Landing near Evansville sometime around 5 p.m. Friday. The driver of a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee, Tony R. Tutor, 40, was ejected from his vehicle. Randolph County Coroner Randy Dudenbostel pronounced him dead at the scene.

Visitation for Tutor will take place Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Lawlor Funeral Home, Columbia. Funeral services will take place 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. 

Interment will follow at Valhalla Gardens Of Memory in Belleville.
