The Republic-Times Team of the Week is the Columbia High School varsity softball squad. The Eagles went 24-6 on the season and won a share of the Cahokia Conference crown as well as a Class 2A regional championship. This year’s team, which went on a 15-game winning streak during the middle of the season, achieved the most victories for the program in a single season since 2018.
