The Republic-Times Athlete of the Week is Millstadt Green Machine pitcher Andrew Yancik. The righthander threw a seven-inning no-hitter in Millstadt’s 2-0 victory over the St. Louis Spikes on Sunday. He struck out six and walked two while facing 24 batters. Including tournament play, Yancik is 5-1 this season with a 2.54 ERA and 37 strikeouts in 30 and one-third innings pitched.
