Gas leak at Valmeyer Post Office

Republic-Times- September 11, 2025

Emergency personnel responded shortly before 10:30 a.m. Thursday to the report of a strong odor of gas inside the Valmeyer Post Office, 100 Knobloch Boulevard.

Post office employees reported headache symptoms in the incident. All of those inside the building were evacuated.

Responding agencies included the Valmeyer Fire Department, Valmeyer Police Department and Monroe County EMS.
