Fire department, police and EMS personnel responded late Saturday morning for a two-vehicle crash on Route 3 at Mark Drive near Southwoods Center in Columbia.

The crash occurred shortly after 11:05 a.m.

Police said the driver of a 2002 Chevrolet truck, Donald H. Williams, 58, of East Carondelet, was crossing the lanes on Mark Drive at Route 3 and pulled out in front of a 2018 Mitsubishi driven by Bruce M. Goldberg, 64, of Bronx, N.Y., who was traveling south on Route 3.

The Chevrolet continued across Route 3 after being struck and ended up in the tree line on the west side of the highway. The Chevrolet had a front seat passenger, Jane M. Williams, 56.

Goldberg was transported by ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis County for treatment of unspecified injuries.
