We have a new Media Store!

By on August 27, 2013 at 1:45 pm

The Republic-Times is proud to announce the launch of its brand new Media Store.

The new Republic-Times/MyCapture Media Store now allows customers to purchase prints, personalized photo products, t-shirts and digital downloads all while browsing through our professional photographs.

For years, the R-T staff has gone out all over the county and take hundreds of pictures at community events, sporting events and more, while only a few would make the cut for the paper. Now all the “other” photos can be shared with the community through our R-T Media Store, while making them available for purchase to the public.

Simply click the “Photos” tab on our menu bar above or visit RepublicTimes.MyCapture.com/.

There you can see all the recent photo albums on the Media Store homepage. On the left-hand side the store is broken down into categories. Each category has its own drop-down of subcategories as well. For example, under “Summertime 2013” you can see the photos broken down by “Festivals and Events”, “Monore County Fair 2013”, and “Valmeyer Mid-Summer Classic.”

We also have a new and improved way to search through our sports photos. You may view our sports photos in two ways, by sport or by school. To browse by sport, simply click “Sports 2013-14” on the left side, and from there you may choose which sport you are interested in. To browse by school, click “Schools 2013-14” on the left side. You will see a drop down of each of the local schools the R-T covers. You may break down school photos even more, by clicking your desired school and you will see further subcategories of “School Activities” and the school’s “Sports.”

The R-T also has designated a category to the old Bob Voris photos. To learn more about our special edition Voris photos, click here.

In order to purchase a photo, click the shopping cart icon under the photo. Beneath the enlarged preview photo you will find a variety of purchase options, from prints, to t-shirts, to a digital download allowing you one-time commercial reprint rights. Once you have chosen your desired photo products, click the order products button below the product options, where it will take you to your shopping cart and you may proceed to check out or continue shopping by clicking one of those options at the bottom of your shopping cart.

You can view your shopping cart at anytime during your R-T Media Store shopping experience by choosing “My Cart” on the MyCapture menu bar, between the main R-T menu above and the Media Store below.

If you have any questions about shopping in the R-T Media Store, please give us a call at 618-939-3814. If you have any questions about your order please contact MyCapture Second Street Media Company.
