The Republic-Times Team of the Week is the Waterloo High School football team coached by Dan Rose. After dropping their season opener, the Bulldogs have won two straight games in dominating fashion. Waterloo downed rival Columbia at home, 49-6, on Sept. 3, then won 38-14 at Carbondale this past Friday. Waterloo recorded eight total takeaways (six interceptions, two fumble recoveries) in those two victories.
