The Republic-Times Athlete of the Week is Waterloo High School basketball standout Ty Lenhardt. The 6-foot-3 senior leads the Bulldogs in scoring this season at more than 17 points per game – including 45.5 percent shooting from three-point range and 85.2 percent shooting from the free-throw line. Lenhardt, who recently scored his 1,000th career point at WHS, is also averaging 3.43 assists per game this season.
