Tractor rollover near Bluff Road

A 60-year-old rural Columbia man was driving a tractor in a field off Sandalwood Drive at Bluff Road about 6 p.m. Tuesday night when the tractor tipped over, injuring the man’s head but not trapping him.

Monroe County Sheriff’s Department deputies and Columbia EMS responded to the scene, as did the Columbia Fire Department. The man’s injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.

The tractor is a 1957 Case Model 311. Quality Collision was called to right the tractor and tow it to another location for repair.
