Sunday brush fire on I-255

Multiple departments responded about 1:30 p.m. Sunday to a large brush fire along I-255 between mileposts 9 and 10 near Dupo in St. Clair County.

The Dupo, Columbia, Prairie du Pont and Cahokia fire departments all responded to the blaze along with Dupo EMS.

The fire was contained within a short amount of time without further incident.
