The Republic-Times Team of the Week is the Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic School eighth grade volleyball team, which earned some hardware for the trophy case following strong showings in recent tournaments.

SPPCS placed second in the end-of-season Belleville Diocesan Volleyball Tournament at Breese Mater Dei last weekend. The Falcons also won the consolation title of the Gibault grade school tourney on March 5. Kayla Huels and Ellie Metzger were selected to the all-tournament of both events.
