Rollover crash on I-255 near Columbia

The Columbia and Dupo fire departments assisted Columbia police and EMS and Illinois State Police with a rollover crash that occurred about 6:15 p.m. Friday on I-255 near the Davis Street Ferry overpass between Columbia and Dupo.

The vehicle involved was a white van. The driver of the van was transported by ambulance to St. Anthony’s Medical Center in St. Louis County for treatment of minor injuries.

Traffic in both directions of I-255 was backed up for a short period as personnel worked to clear the scene.
