The Trophy Mules released its debut 10-song recording Sorry Motel in January. The album is available through most online music retailers, including iTunes, Amazon and CDBaby. The physical CD can also be purchased at www.CDBaby.com, Euclid Records in Webster Groves, Mo., and at the band’s live performances.

Saathoff formed The Trophy Mules in 2009 with mandolin-guitar player Larry Rosenhoffer of St. Louis and bassist Dan Huffman of Belleville. Drummer Dave Clark and pedal steel player Scott Swartz round out the current band lineup.

The Riverfront Times recently praised the band’s music as “exceptionally well-played, pleasant country/Americana.”
