The Columbia Fire Department responded about 2:20 p.m. Thursday following a possible lightning strike to a residence in the 1200 block of Sugarloaf Hill Road east of Dupo.

No smoke was visible following the reported strike and other than some issues with electronics inside the home, there was no obvious damage immediately detected as a result of the incident.
