Columbia Police

May 9: Steven M. Meiners Jr., 29, of St. Louis, was arrested on an in- state warrant on Old State Route 3.

Monroe County Sheriff

May 10: Jason M. Yaekel, 29, of Columbia, was arrested on a fugitive from justice warrant at 286 Southwoods Drive.
Brittany N. Adkins, 21, of Columbia, was arrested on an in-state warrant at 2621 Columbia Lakes Drive.

May 6: A 23-year-old Missouri man was transported to St. Anthony’s Medical Center in St. Louis for treatment of minor injuries sus- tained when the 2005 Nissan Sentra he was driving went off the roadway and struck a tree in the area of 6965 K Road near Goed- deltown Road about 11:30 p.m.

May 7: A report of theft and criminal trespassing at Dreamland Palace in Foster Pond is under investigation. Two to three sets of Mer- cedes-Benz wheels, two engines and other items were stolen from the property over the past two months.

May 8: John Poole, 44, of Red Bud, was cited for illegal transportation of alcohol and expired registration on Route 3 at Gilmore Lake Road.

May 9: The theft of two zero-turn mowers, a generator and a weed eater from a barn in the area of 5900 Konarcik Road is under investigation.

May 10: The theft of six rings and cash from a dresser inside a home in the area of 4700 Chalfin Bridge Road is under investigation.

Waterloo Police

May 2: Officers were notified that someone attempted to spend a coun- terfeit $20 bill at Helping Hand thrift store. The bill was not accepted at the store, according to police dispatch.

May 3: Brian Eads, 20, of Valmeyer, was arrested for possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia.

May 8: Stephanie L. King, 42, of Arnold, Mo., was charged with felony retail theft following a June 11, 2013 incident in which she allegedly stole a 60-inch TV from Walmart.

Kyle M. Smith, 18, of Waterloo, was arrested for possession of cannabis (more than 10 grams, less than 30) and unlawful possession of alcohol.

May 9: A juvenile was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia at the Skate Park.

Brittany Swimmer, 24, of Waterloo, was arrested for domestic battery on Roosevelt Drive.

Justin A. Cox, 23, of Red Bud, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance (heroin), possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, and possession of a hypodermic syringe at U-Gas. Cox was also arrested on a Monroe County warrant.

May 11: Teressa Lay, 43, of Waterloo, was arrested for battery and ag- gravated assault following an altercation at Fourth Street Bar. She allegedly raised a wooden stick above her head and threatened bodily harm to a woman in the incident.
