Columbia Police

Feb. 27

Tyler C. Reifschneider, 21, of Columbia, was arrested for DUI, illegal transportation of alcohol, driving on the shoulder and improper lane usage on N. Main Street at Veterans Parkway.

March 2

Charles J. Forester, 34, of Cahokia, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant for retail theft at the police station.

Machelle L. Morales, 35, of St. Louis, was arrested on a Monroe County warrant on Admiral Parkway northbound at Mark Drive.

March 3

Robert J. Statler, 22, of Columbia, was arrested on a Monroe County warrant for no insurance at 518 Kremmel.

March 5

Police were searching for a silver Ford Escape with Missouri plates in connection with the theft of bottles of liquor from the Columbia Walgreens by a male suspect around 12:50 p.m. A similar incident occurred at the Waterloo Walgreens around 4:45 p.m. Monday. A green Ford Escape with Missouri plates was the get-away vehicle for liquor thieves in that incident.

 Monroe County Sheriff

Feb. 25

Zachary Emler, 19, of Belleville, was cited for speeding (104 miles per hour in a 65 zone) on I-255.

Feb. 26

Kyle J. Fredrick, 18, of Waterloo, was transported to St. Anthony’s Medical Center after his 2000 Saturn lost control on VV Road east of G Road around 1:15 p.m. and struck a utility pole.

Feb. 28

A 1994 Mazda Protege driven by Sydnee J. Ogilvie, 17, of Waterloo, lost control on Maeystown Road while turning onto Mill Street around 4:45 p.m. and struck a guardrail. A passenger, Emma C. Schaefer, 18, of Waterloo, was transported to St. Anthony’s Medical Center for treatment of injuries. The driver and three other passengers declined medical transport.

March 3

Sarah Stanka, 29, of Waterloo, was arrested on a Monroe County warrant.

St. Clair County Sheriff

Feb. 25

Kevin E. Hagan, 50, of East Carondelet, was arrested for participation in meth manufacturing following an investigation that led them to an RV near Illinois Avenue in East Carondelet. Police uncovered three “shake and bake” meth labs during a search. Also uncovered was a rifle, which enhances the charges to Class X felonies.

Waterloo Police

Feb. 27

Glenn J. Rabbermann, 36, of Waterloo, was arrested for battery following an incident at 308 Walnut Street. Also arrested was Glen Craig, 41, of Waterloo, for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Feb. 28

A 2003 Ford Mustang driven by Tierney Courtois, 18, of Waterloo, went off the roadway near Lakeview Park during the early morning hours, taking out two utility poles before finally coming to rest. Courtois refused medical transport. She was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and improper lane usage.
