Police Blotter 1/23/13

Columbia Police

Jan. 16 – Timothy B. Vinyard, 20, of Columbia, was arrested for possession of cannabis and drug paraphernalia at Moto Mart.

Jan. 17 – A crash involving a Jeep driven by Jacob Liefer, 23, of Red Bud, and Toyota Camry driven by Mark Baehmann, 50, of Waterloo, occurred on Route 3 at Carl Street around 2:35 p.m. Baehmann was transported to St. Anthony’s Medical Center; Liefer declined transport. Liefer was cited for failure to yield.

Jan. 18 – Terrie L. Vogt, 50, of Waterloo, was arrested for DUI, possession of a controlled substance (cocaine) and driving in the wrong lane on Route 3 southbound at Mark Drive.

Jan. 19 – Cassandra M. Steppig, 20, of East Carondelet, was arrested for possession of cannabis and drug paraphernalia, and unlawful possession of alcohol in the 200 block of Columbia Centre.

Jan. 20 – Alicia L. Notter, 21, of Columbia, was arrested for DUI and possession of cannabis and drug paraphernalia on Gall Road west of Wellington Drive.

Illinois State Police

Jan. 16 – A crash involving a semi and Chevy Malibu on I-255 near the Dupo exit occurred around 10:15 a.m. A truck driven by Jimmie R. Stephens, 71, of Troy, was changing lanes when it struck the car, driven by Melissa K. Gerber, 31, of Granite City. Gerber was transported to St. Anthony’s Medical Center. Stephens was cited for improper lane usage.

Jan. 19 – A Nissan Altima driven by Christopher J. Dickerman, 20, of Imperial, Mo., struck a Dodge Ram driven by Charles W. Latimer, 48, of Cahokia, on I-255 eastbound near the Fish Lake overpass around 5 a.m. Dickerman, Latimer and a passenger in Dickerman’s car, Dylan Lewis of Barnhart, Mo., were all taken to St. Anthony’s Medical Center for injuries.

Jan. 20 – Lisa Feurer, 39, of New Athens, was taken to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Belleville after her Honda CRV left the roadway from westbound Route 156 at the Route 159 stop sign near Hecker and went into a field around 9:30 a.m., catching fire.

Monroe County Sheriff

Jan. 15 – Tiffanie Mason and Jeremy Stephenson were arrested on in-state warrants at Luhr’s Landing; Renata Laprade was arrested on a Monroe County warrant in a separate incident.

Jan. 16 – Casey Hurley and Jennifer Langston were arrested on Monroe County warrants in separate incidents.

Jan. 18 – Two males drove a red Polaris Razor ATV off the Wm. Nobbe John Deere dealership lot around 11:20 a.m. The subjects were later captured, but the ATV has not yet been recovered. Charges are pending.

Jan. 20 – Denise Dodson was arrested on in-state warrants.

Jan. 21 – Quinton Lawrence was arrested on a Monroe County warrant.

Valmeyer Police

Jan. 17 – Antwoine L. Williams of Cahokia was arrested on a Missouri warrant for drug trafficking.

Waterloo Police

Jan. 17 – Matthew Schuerman, 31, of Dupo, was arrested for domestic battery and criminal trespassing.

Jan. 18 – Joseph McDonald of St. Louis was arrested on an in-state warrant.

Jan. 19 – Scott E. Cooper, 18, of Waterloo, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and consumption of alcohol at Fast Stop.

Brett Lenhardt, 20, John McWilliams Jr., 32, Joseph Free, 22, and Michael Levendoski, 22, all of Waterloo, were issued city ordinance violations for public fighting at Denny’s, as was Eric Paul, 31, of St. Louis.

Tyler Brand, 28, of Dupo, was arrested for possession of cannabis and drug paraphernalia, illegal transportation of alcohol and multiple traffic tickets on Route 3. Also cited was Jarrod Grimes, 26, of Valmeyer, for illegal transportation of alcohol.

Jan. 20 – Rodney Koester, 48, of Red Bud, was arrested for DUI and improper lane usage at Walmart.
