Columbia Police

Dec. 19
Christopher M. Sanders, 37, of Columbia, was arrested for failure to register as a sex offender at 428 Fairfax Drive.

Joseph S. Grimaldi, 48, of High Ridge, Mo., was arrested on an in-state warrant and also for driving while revoked and obstructing identification on North Rapp Street at Oak Tree Drive.

Monroe County Sheriff

Dec. 19
The report of a possible identity theft involving a resident on LRC Road is under investigation.

St. Clair County Sheriff

Dec. 20
Deputies assisted Millstadt fire and EMS in responding to a vehicle accident on Floraville Road at Celeste Estates Drive around 6:20 p.m. Information on possible injuries was not yet available.

Waterloo Police

Dec. 18
The report of a change jar missing and presumed stolen from a home on South Church Street is under investigation. The change jar is believed to have contained more than $100.

Dec. 19
A juvenile male was arrested for aggravated assault and resisting a police officer follow- ing an incident at Waterloo High School.
