Columbia Police

Jan. 8
John G. Walla, 44, of Waterloo, was arrested on an ordinance violation warrant and for no insurance and speeding on Route 3 northbound at Palmer Road.

Jan. 9
Ashley E. Jones, 27, of East Carondelet, was charged with harassment through electronic communications following a Nov. 11 incident.

Jan. 12
Jason D. Frierdich, 32, of Columbia, was arrested on an in-state warrant at 722 N. Metter.

Monroe County Sheriff

Jan. 3
Martin S. Lang, 39, of Belleville, was arrested for felony driving while license revoked (14th offense). He has 11 such prior arrests in St. Clair County dating back to 1992 and two more in Madison County.

Jan. 7
Joseph Hesch of Millstadt was arrested on a failure to appear warrant on DD Road.

Jan. 8
Robert F. Krassier, 38, of Bloomsdale, Mo., was charged with the Aug. 29 theft of a radiator and scrap metal from 3558 Hanover Road.

Kevin Sickendick of Valmeyer was arrested on a failure to appear warrant on Fountain Road.

The report of an air compressor, power tools, copper wire and garden hoses missing from a property in the area of 3300 Ames Road since late November is under investigation.

Jan. 9
Kristen Moskop of Waterloo was arrested on a failure to pay or appear warrant on Debra Lane.

Jan. 12
Michael Langille, 48, of Columbia, was arrested for DUI on FF Road.

Jan. 13
Criminal damage to property was reported at 8820 Summer Road. The glass front door was shattered, and a small piece of metal believed to be a BB or pellet was found.

Jan. 8
James Kinzel II, 33, of Baldwin, was arrested for possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia at Huck’s.

Jan. 11
Matthew Banker, 53, of Waterloo, was arrested for DUI and improper lane usage on Hamacher Street at Adams Drive.

Jan. 12
Norman Roy, 66, of Red Bud, was arrested for DUI and improper lane usage on Illinois Avenue.

Jan. 13
Alexander Hamilton, 19, of Hecker, was cited for unlawful consumption of alcohol and improper lane usage on Park Street at Stiening Street.
