Columbia Police

Dec. 21

Lori R. Camp, 40, of Columbia, was charged with battery (physical contact).

Corey A. Embrich, 34, of Waterloo, was charged with felony driving while license suspended/revoked (fourth offense).

Dec. 28

Spencer S. Summers, 19, and James T. Hines, 20, both of Columbia, were each cited for unlawful possession of cannabis shortly before 10:45 p.m. on North Metter Avenue at East Mulberry Street.

Millstadt Police

Jan. 1

Shortly after 8 p.m., police responded to Dollar General, 601 W. Washington Street, for a report of a disturbance between a customer and store employee.  The customer had left prior to the officer’s arrival.  The officer located the suspect vehicle on Route 158 at Douglas Road. The driver of the vehicle, Paullina M. Suess-Wahala, 46, of Madison, was arrested on a Madison County warrant for obstructing a court order.

Monroe County Sheriff

Dec. 27

Deputies received reports of damage by vehicles to multiple fields in the bottoms near Levee and Regtown roads and will increase patrols in that area.  Anyone with information regarding these incidents is asked to call 618-939-8651 or 618-939-TIPS.

Waterloo Police

Dec. 24

Keaton J. Osterhage, 22, of Waterloo, was arrested for DUI shortly before 11 p.m. at 200 N. Main Street. Osterhage was also charged with speeding. 

Dec. 26

Richard S. Norman, 45, of Waterloo, was charged with theft for allegedly stealing several pieces of computer equipment and a laptop during an Oct. 18 incident at Sidebarr Technology, 650 N. Market Street.

Dec. 30

Jennifer C. Strubberg, 47, of Granite City, was charged with burglary and retail theft for allegedly stealing merchandise from Rural King, 740 N. Market Street.

Dennis P. Phelps, 57, and Adam P. Phelps, 24, both of Waterloo, were charged with possession/use of fireworks at 9:02 p.m. in the 200 block of Thomas Lane.
