Emergency personnel responded shortly after 3:45 p.m. Saturday to a single motorcycle crash in the area of Southport Drive in Columbia.

Initial reports indicated the driver of the motorcycle was conscious and alert following the crash and sustained only scrapes and bruises.

Responding agencies included Columbia police, fire department and EMS personnel.
