Jailed for contempt of court

A Columbia man was ordered to spend 10 days in jail for contempt of court last Wednesday at the Monroe County Courthouse in Waterloo.

Justin Bass, 44, was found in contempt during a hearing on a divorce case during which court information alleges Bass “questioned the court’s integrity” on multiple occasions in front of presiding Judge Jeremy Walker.
