Grass fire near Waterloo

The Waterloo Fire Department and Monroe County EMS responded about 11:30 a.m. Saturday to the report of a grass fire that was spreading to a nearby residence at 3120 Cedar Ridge Lane.

The fire was believed to be mostly under control by about 11:50 a.m.
