Garage fire in Red Bud

The Red Bud Fire Department responded shortly after 11 p.m. Saturday to a garage on fire in the 600 block of East South First Street near Second Street.

Flames were seen shooting from the garage upon arrival.

Firefighters attacked the flames from both the First and Second street sides of the structure.

The fire melted siding on nearby buildings.
