The Republic-Times Athlete of the Week is Columbia High School cross country runner Ethan Hogan. The junior finished a stellar fall with a sixth place showing Saturday morning in a rainy IHSA Class 1A State Cross Country Meet at Detweiller Park in Peoria. It was the best finish ever for a CHS runner at state and earned Hogan all-state recognition.
