James J. Burns Jr., 71, of Waterloo, died June 23, 2015, in Sanibel Island, Fla.

A memorial visitation will be July 3, from 9 to 11 a.m., at Quernheim Funeral Home, Waterloo.

A memorial service will be July 3, at 11 a.m., at the funeral home, Rev. Sebastian Ukoh C.M. officiating.

Interment will follow at Ss. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Waterloo.
John Emery Bay
John Emery Bay, 88, of Maeystown, died June 15, 2015, in Belleville.

A cemetery service will be July 6, at 10 a.m., at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Pastor Patrick Poole officiating.
Oliver C. Dehne
Oliver C. Dehne, 90, of Red Bud, died June 23, 2015, at New Athens Home for the Aged in New Athens.

Visitation was June 25, at Koch-Liefer Funeral Home in Red Bud.

The funeral service was June 26, at St. Peter United Church of Christ in Red Bud, Rev. William Graves officiating.

Interment followed at the church cemetery.


LuAnn M. Beck
LuAnn M. Beck (nee Mees), 61, of Columbia, died June 29, 2015.

Visitation is July 3, from  9 to 11 a.m., at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Columbia.

A funeral Mass will follow  at 11 a.m., at church, Fr. Carl Scherrer officiating.

Ernest “Ernie” F. Doiron, 82, of Prarie du Rocher, died June 24, 2015, in Red Bud.

Visitation is June 26, from 4 to 8 p.m., and June 27, from 8 to 10:15 a.m., at Welge-Pechacek Funeral Home, Red Bud.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated June 27, at 11 a.m., at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Prairie du Rocher.

Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Prairie du Rocher.


Bertha May Sprengel
Bertha May Sprengel, 85, of Chester, died June 24, 2015, in Chester.

Visitation is June 28, from 4 to 7 p.m., at Pechacek-McClure Funeral Home, Chester; and June 29, from 10 to 11 a.m., at St. John Lutheran Church, Chester.

Funeral services will be June 29, at 11 a.m., at the church.
