Police were contacted in regard to a possible clown sighting by a passing motorist near Konarcik Park in Waterloo shortly before 11 p.m. Thursday. Police said the caller observed a person dressed as a clown stepping out in front of vehicles near the park.

A Waterloo officer responded to the scene, but no clowns were found.
