CHS boys basketball | Team of the Week

This week’s Republic-Times Team of the Week is the Columbia High School boys basketball team.

The Eagles on Tuesday night won their second tournament title this season, taking the 58th annual Freeburg-Columbia Holiday Tournament championship against Piasa Southwestern in impressive fashion, 68-51 at Freeburg High School.

With wins against Triad, Lovejoy, Marquette and Piasa over the holiday break, the 9-3 Eagles now have a building block for the conference grind that remains.
