The Republic-Times Athlete of the Week is Gibault Catholic High School basketball standout Karmon Grohmann. The senior led the Hawks to a 2-1 showing at last week’s Dupo Cat Classic tournament to open the 2025-26 campaign. Grohmann is averaging 20 points, eight rebounds, 3.7 steals and 3.3 blocks per game in the early going to this season.
