Woman identified in Columbia property destruction investigation

The Columbia Police Department has identified a women wanted for questioning in an ongoing criminal damage to property investigation.

This photo provided by police was taken near Centerville Avenue and Kremmel at approximately 7:15 a.m. on Oct. 16. According to reports, it was taken after the woman pictured was allegedly seen pouring salt onto plants outside a home at that location.

The Read family who live at that home have been in the news recently after Black Lives Matter signs on their property were vandalized. The Read family  have four children, two of whom are African American.

Police have not publicly linked the alleged incidents, and no charges have yet been filed against anyone.
