Dec. 7
Denise A. Range, 25, of Dupo, was arrested on Monroe and Randolph County warrants at 100 Admiral Weinel Blvd.

Dec. 8
Kristian R. Reed, 34, of Columbia, was arrested for criminal damage to property in the 700 block of N. Metter Avenue.

Dec. 6
Deputies are investigating multiple reports of vandalism that occurred in the 200 block of West Jefferson and the area of Second and Melinda Streets in Hecker. In one incident, an outdoor inflatable Santa decoration was slashed. In another, a statue of Mary was spray-painted and a street sign was damaged.

Dec. 9
Samuel Mercer, 20, of Waterloo, was arrested for DUI, possession of cannabis (10 to 30 grams), three felony counts of possession of a controlled substance (hydrocodone, psilocyn, diazepam), unlawful possession of alcohol, possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawfully bringing contraband into jail, and multiple traffic tickets on Goeddeltown Road.

Jacob Pickering, 22, of Waterloo, was arrested for domestic battery, unlawful interference with the reporting of domestic violence and possession of drug paraphernalia at 5605 State Route 156.

Damien J. Morales, 28, of Hecker, was arrested for disorderly conduct and obstructing justice following a false police report.
Brett Spinner of East Carondelet was arrested on a Monroe County failure to appear warrant.

A Cahokia man, Gail Cornelius, was transported to an area hospital for minor injuries sustained in a rollover crash on Kaskaskia Road south of Renault around 1:30 p.m.

Austin Pierce, 16, of Waterloo, refused medical transport after his 1987 Ford Ranger flipped on Maeystown Road near JJ Road around 8:10 p.m.

Dec. 6
Anthony H. Worth, 20, of Waterloo, was charged with residential burglary for allegedly entering the home of Christopher Brigance at 123 Hunters Ridge on Dec. 4 with the intent to commit a theft.

Dec. 3
Scott Kaestner, 40, of Columbia, was arrested for battery at 110 Lincoln Drive.

Dec. 4
Joshua McDonald, 24, of Smithton, and Jeffrey Lee Day, 41, of Belleville, were arrested following the theft of a Sony Playstation 3 game console from Walmart. The two were also charged with felony retail theft in connection with similar incidents that occurred there last month. Day allegedly took a laptop computer from the store on Nov. 24, and two laptops from the store on Nov. 25. McDonald allegedly took a laptop from the store on Nov. 24.

Dec. 6
John Ellis, 46, of Red Bud, was arrested for criminal trespassing at Walmart.

Gerald W. Crittendon, 54, of Imperial, Mo., was charged with felony retail theft for taking a desktop computer and four Xbox 460 game consoles from Walmart on Nov. 6.

Roman P. Foster, 18, of Waterloo, was cited for unlawful consumption of alcohol at Waterloo High School.

Mario Saenz, 46, of Waterloo, was arrested for DUI and improper lane usage on Route 3 at Southview Drive.

Christopher A. Phillips, 33, of Waterloo, was charged with felony theft after allegedly taking five gold and diamond rings and two gold and diamond tennis bracelets valued at more than $500 on Oct. 31.
