The Waterloo Fire Department, Monroe County EMS and the sheriff’s department responded to a two-car, head-on collision east of Waterloo on Route 156 west of Goeddeltown Road at about 5:30 p.m. Thursday. Reports indicate a female driving a Toyota Camry headed westbound collided with a man driving a Buick LaCrosse headed eastbound. Both drivers were conscious and alert at the scene, and at least one driver was transported to an area hospital. Route 156 was closed in the area as emergency personnel worked the scene.
