In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, Waterloo hosted rival Gibault in the annual Dig Pink Game to help raise money to benefit breast cancer research.

The Hawks advanced their record to 18-8, defeating Waterloo (10-7) on its home turf, 25-18, 25-12.

However, the Bulldog loss did not taint their perfect Mississippi Valley Conference record, as it still stands at 7-0.

WHS will take to the court next on Tuesday, traveling to Mascoutah for a conference match-up, while Gibault will take on Alton Marquette at home that day as well.
