Fairground grandstand roof project out for bid

The Monroe County Fair Association is looking into the feasibility of having a steel roof structure built over the existing grandstand bleachers at the fairgrounds in Waterloo (pictured). As advertised in the Republic-Times, the fair board is accepting sealed bids for the work until Feb. 12. A pre-bid conference will be held at the fairgrounds on Jan. 29.
