Dakota Maus, the R-T Athlete of the Week

This week’s Republic-Times Athlete of the Week is Valmeyer High School baseball player Dakota Maus. He leads the team on the mound and at the plate. Maus pitched a complete game in Valmeyer’s 3-2 win over Lebanon on Tuesday. On the spring, Maus is 5-1 with a 1.13 ERA on the hill and also leads the team in hitting with a .385 batting average and 20 stolen bases.
