Monroe County Welcome Center

Whiteside Station Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, will host a memorial marking for Revolutionary War patriot William Whiteside at 2 p.m. Sept. 23, at Shoemaker Schoolhouse, in Columbia. A reception will follow at Christ Community Lutheran Church. The public is invited. Please bring a lawn chair.
