Area law enforcement agencies were put on alert following the report of a vehicle stolen Tuesday night in Dupo.

According to an Illinois State Police Emergency Radio Network broadcast, a black 2017 Hyundai sedan was reported stolen shortly after 8:30 p.m. from a residence in the 800 block of Kaestner Drive in Dupo.

The vehicle was unlocked at the time it was stolen, police said, but the keys were not inside.

Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call their local police department.
