Saturday crash near Valmeyer

Emergency personnel responded shortly before 7:30 p.m. Saturday to a single-vehicle crash in the rain on Route 156 at D Road just east of D Road.

The extent of possible injuries was not immediately known.

The vehicle involved came to rest in a ditch.

Responding agencies included the Valmeyer Fire Department, Monroe County EMS and Monroe County Sheriff’s Department.
