The Republic-Times Athlete of the Week is Columbia Eagles goaltender Ryder Kelly. The sophomore recorded a 31-save shutout Monday night in game three of the Mississippi Valley Club Hockey Association Varsity 1A finals, which resulted in a 2-0 victory for Columbia over Triad for the title. In 26 varsity games this season, Kelly posted a 12-12-2 record and three shutouts over 1,092 minutes with a 3.31 goals against average.
