Printice D. “Bill” Aycock

Printice D. “Bill” Aycock, 95, of Waterloo, died Aug. 3, 2015, in Waterloo.

He was born Dec. 14, 1919, in Paris, Tenn., son of the late Wayne and Edna Aycock (nee Phillips).

He was married to Gloria L. Aycock (nee Neubarth) for 65 years; she survives him.

Printice was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Waterloo VFW and Monroe County Farm Bureau.

He retired from Monsanto, enjoyed checking on the farms, was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan, and enjoyed the outdoors.

He is survived by his wife; children Linda (Mike) Gipson and Dale Aycock; grandchildren Amy (Nathan) Starr, Kelly Gipson, Lindsey Gipson, Brittney (Justin) Morrow and Robert Aycock; great-granddaughter Avery Morrow; brother Ray (Jackie) Aycock; and nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, bother Wilburn W. Aycock, sister LaRue Trent, and daughter-in-law Suzie Aycock.

Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. to noon, Thursday, Aug. 6, at Quernheim Funeral Home, Waterloo.

A funeral will be at noon, following the visitation, at the funeral home, Pastor Matt Friz officiating.

Interment will follow at Waterloo Cemetery, Waterloo.

As an expression of sympathy memorials may be made to the Oak Hill Activity Fund.
