Pamela “Vickie” Brombolich | Obituary
Pamela “Vickie” Brombolich (nee Antoff), 66, of Waterloo, died June 28, 2015, at her residence just two weeks shy of her 47th wedding anniversary, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born May 17, 1949, in East St. Louis, daughter of the late Robert (Poncho) and Betty Antoff (nee Robinson).
Vickie was in banking for 20 years before retiring in 2010 as the owner and operator of Vickie’s Hallmark in Waterloo.
She and her husband, Joseph, traveled extensively during her life, with her two favorite places being, Destin, Fla., and Kauai, Hawaii. She was an avid St. Louis Blues fan and season ticket holder for 15 years. Her favorite seasons were spring and Christmas. The “Six Pack” will never be the same without its founding member.
Surviving are her husband, Joseph F. Brombolich; brother Robert (Sharon) Antoff of Brownsville, Texas; brother-in-law Larry (Sandy) Brombolich of Mesa, Ariz.; sister-in-law Charlotte Scranton of Edwardsville; beloved aunt Melba Pathenos of Belleville; cousins Karen (Mike) Wells of Waterloo, and Maureen Lipe of Belleville; dearest friends Cheryl (Frank) Parsons of Columbia, Kim (Bob) Parker of Columbia, Don (Barb) Landgraf of Waterloo, Sandra Shrout of Bethalto, and Jeanie Davis of Hot Springs, Ark.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her three canine kids, Frosty, Peaches and Libby.
Visitation is July 1, from 4 to 8 p.m., at Braun Family Funeral Home, Columbia, with casual attire suggested.
A funeral service will be July 2, at 10 a.m., at the funeral home, Father Kenneth York officiating, with Hawaiian attire suggested.
Interment will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois and will be accepted at the funeral home.
