Lifechurch offering free leaf pick-up

As a free community service, Lifechurch is offering to pick up pre-bagged leaves within Waterloo city limits on Oct. 25 and Nov. 22 free of charge. Call Waterloo City Hall at 939-8600.

Leaves must be pre-bagged and left at the curb the morning of the pick-up.

“We are excited to be able to provide this service for the great people of our community.,” said Lifechurch pastor Matt Heck. “Assuming this goes over well we would love to continue this service in the future.”

Lifechurch organizers are also looking for additional volunteers who might need the hours for their service projects or who just want to help beautify the community and help their neighbors. Volunteers will meet at 8 a.m., in the parking lot of Real Life United Methodist Church, 400 Park Street in Waterloo.

Anyone interested in helping, including volunteers with pick-up trucks, can email mheck@lifechurch-stl.com
