A two-vehicle crash occurred about 10 p.m. Saturday on Route 3 near Marketplace Drive in Waterloo, resulting in one injury.

Police said William J. Goodnick, 56, of Waterloo, was traveling north on Route 3 in his black Jeep Wrangler when he attempted a sharp right turn onto Marketplace Drive near Dairy Queen. The Jeep rolled onto its side, colliding with a Chevy car driven by 64-year-old Patricia Turner.

Goodnick was transported by ambulance to a St. Louis hospital. Waterloo Fire Department personnel assisted Waterloo police and Monroe County EMS at the scene. Charges are pending against Goodnick, police said.
