House earns Bronze Award

Clara House

Clara House, a Junior Girl Scout with Troop 387 in Waterloo, recently earned the Bronze Award for her project at Morrison-Talbott Library in Waterloo.

The Bronze Award is the highest award that a Junior Girl Scout can receive.

House designed, built and installed a Little Free Library as her project.

Little Free Libraries provide a way for people to share their love of reading with others by passing reading materials for free.

Morrison Talbott Library staff said they were honored to offer a home for the library and happy to support the development of the critical leadership and life skills that local Girl Scouts are developing.

The library also congratulated House on the completion of her project and encourage the public to visit the little library at the big library by taking a book or sharing a book,
