The Boy Scouts of America and various local food pantries need your help – and so do thousands of hungry people in our communities.
Boy Scouts are participating in the annual Scouting for Food drive this fall. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, scouts will not be going door-to-door to pick up food this Saturday as planned.
Troops 320 and 357 and Cub Scout Pack 319 in Columbia are hosting drive-thru food collections Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon at Ace Hardware (229 N. Main Street), Immaculate Conception Church (401 Palmer Road) and St. Paul’s Lutheran Church (227 N. Goodhaven Street) and the Columbia City Hall parking lot (208 S. Rapp Ave).
Troops in Waterloo will host food collection sites at Family Video (100 Plaza Drive) and other locations from Nov. 21 through Dec. 12.
