The Monroe County Republican Central Committee is hosting a Chicken and Beer Dance and Meet the Candidates event this Thursday, April 12, at Hecker Community Center.

The event starts at 5:30 p.m., with scholarships awarded, live music and dancing.

Cost is $20 per person, which includes fried chicken, fries, cole slaw, dessert, soda, beer, coffee, tea and water.
