A COVID-19 guideline friendly drive-in concert takes place at the Monroe County Fairgrounds in Waterloo this Saturday, Oct. 10. Monroe County Tailgate Fest is built around social distancing guidelines, allowing patrons to safely see live music.
A portion of event proceeds will benefit local combat veteran charity Songs4Soldiers, which canceled this year’s benefit concert.
Music starts at 4 p.m. and features Wildfire, Trixie Delight, Dazed n Confused STL, Waterloo’s own Alexandra Kay and Joe Dirt.
Cost is $60 per vehicle and can be purchased at S4SSTL.ORG. Parking is on a first come, first serve basis and the gates open at 2 p.m.
Patrons can get out of their vehicles but must remain in designated spaces and may bring their own food, snacks, beverages and lawn chairs/blankets. No concessions will be served.
The event concludes with a fireworks display.
