A meeting for the 2024 Miss Monroe County and Little Miss pageants is this Saturday, March 9, at the Monroe County Fairgrounds. The Little Miss meeting begins at 9:30 a.m. The contest is open to children who are ages 6-8 as of July 21, 2024. Parents of candidates are asked to bring a copy of the candidate’s birth certificate, proof of residency and most recent school year report card. The Queen meeting begins at 11 a.m. Contestants are asked to bring a driver’s license, proof of residency and most recent high school transcript. Contestants ages are 17-21 as of July 21, with no contestant with a 22nd birthday before Jan. 1, 2025. All contestants must live in Monroe County or attend school in the Waterloo, Columbia, Valmeyer or Red Bud school districts. There is a limit of 10 contestants for each contest.
