Monroe Actors Stage Company is offering a series of free online workshops this summer funded in part by a grant from the Illinois Arts Council.
The series begins July 13, and workshops feature presenters from New York City, St. Louis and Columbia, Mo. as well as Belleville, Columbia and Waterloo. A full schedule of dates and times can be found at masctheatre.org.
The workshops are scheduled into three groups: elementary (entering grades 1-4); middle school (entering grades 5-9); and high school/adult. The interactive one-hour workshops will offer age specific ideas and practical applications for each level.
